On the left is a lesson plan for a chemistry class and on the right is the assigned Google Form.
Google has bless us with an array of collaborative tools that are useful in most fields, especially education. The tool used in particular here was a Google Form, meant to be used as an assessment to gauge student comprehension of converting units. While it says it has a grade, this is mainly to put a number on comprehension (0-100% understanding).
Google Forms have a lot of flexibility and can be used for surveys or quizzes. The quiz option can even provide feedback. There is immense benefit for teachers and I am willing to bet it can be more helpful when the school uses Google Classroom.
